Graduation Lockers Draped Like Fabric in Art Room
Pale walls reflect bright midmorning light into a quiet school corridor near Tainan, where metal lockers defy gravity. Instead of rigid steel, the locker surfaces fold and drape like heavy woven cloth, creating deep, soft creases along the vertical rows. Each fold casts a sharp, dark shadow against the adjacent pale surface, showing the impossible texture of the metal. Small graduation decorations in red and gold hang loosely from the draped handles, swaying as if caught in a breeze that does not exist. The cool season air is suggested by the crisp, clean edges of the shadows stretching across the floor.
