Goat Kidding Shelf Blue Hour Concrete

Early autumn light fades to deep indigo along a Colorado feedlot lane, where a wooden kidding shelf sits beside wet concrete marked by distinct boot prints. The shelf, constructed of rough-hewn planks, holds a newborn goat kit resting against the wood grain. Cold breath mists visibly around the nearby metal rails and gates, indicating the chill air. Distant town glow illuminates the horizon with a soft orange haze, contrasting the cool blue tones of the night.
