A glazed ceramic vase rests on a rough stone windowsill in Naples, catching the flat, diffused light of an overcast midday. The curved white surface reflects the distorted grid of a nearby window frame, against the matte texture of the aged masonry. Beside it, a small terracotta bowl holds a few dried basil leaves, adding a touch of earthy brown to the cool grey tones.
