Frost Web on Summer Pier Railing

Pale walls reflect broad skylight into the early afternoon space, illuminating a delicate cobweb stretched between metal fence posts on an indoor pier railing. A thin layer of frost rests on the silk threads, creating a sharp contrast against the warm midsummer season indicated by the bright ambient light. Lamplight settles softly into the corners, casting faint yellow glows where the skylight does not reach. The web spans the gap with intricate, glistening strands that catch the overhead illumination. Tiny ice crystals form sharp geometric edges along the horizontal wires, while the metal posts show subtle oxidation under the mixed lighting. One dew drop hangs suspended on the lowest thread, refracting the pale wall color in a distorted, miniature landscape.
