Freight Train Winding Desert Butte Marrakech

Dusty ochre tracks curve sharply around a weathered sandstone butte under a vast, cloudless sky. A long freight train snakes along a raised causeway, its boxcars painted in faded industrial blues and rusted reds. The late afternoon sun casts long, hard shadows that stretch across the dry, gravel-strewn embankment. Arid scrub rests on the base of the rock formation, against the rigid geometry of the steel rails. The diagonal line of the train cuts through the open landscape, showing motion against the stillness of the stone. at the edge is the rough, chipped paint on the nearest coupling mechanism, worn by years of friction.
