Foggy Trailer Yard at Dawn in Utrecht

Soft overcast light diffuses across a wide trailer yard in Utrecht as early summer dawn breaks. Low-hanging clouds hang heavy above the asphalt, blurring the edges of parked semi-trailers lined up in neat rows. Sodium streetlights cast a muted orange glow that reflects faintly on the damp pavement, illuminating the metal textures of trailer undercarriages and the rubber tires resting against the concrete. Loading dock doors stand closed, their heavy metal surfaces silent and still. The trailers wait in place for dispatch, their route-driven purpose visible in their orderly alignment. Fog softens the distant outlines of industrial buildings, leaving the heavy metal edges of the nearest trailer sharp against the gray sky.
