Florida Greenhouse Grids Under Sea Cliffs

Bright white surf crashes against rugged sea cliffs while high above, a vast grid of Florida greenhouse structures stretches toward the horizon. Flat noon light eliminates deep shadows, rendering the geometric rows of translucent roofs in sharp detail. Low clouds drift across the sky, breaking into patches of clear blue that reveal the pale green and silver tones of the agricultural landscape below. The cliffs rise steeply from the churning water, their rocky surfaces against the orderly, man-made patterns of the fields. One shadow from a cloud falls across the center of the grid, darkening the plastic sheets momentarily before the light returns. The white foam of the waves creates a jagged border between the ocean and the land.
