Rich amber sunlight floods a ribbed concrete lobby in Mogadishu, illuminating dust particles that drift through the air. Stacked shipping crates, arranged in a strict geometric grid, defy gravity as several units hover midair in a staggered formation. The golden light casts sharp, repeating shadows that stretch across the floor and walls, blending the floating objects with their dark silhouettes until the distinction between solid form and shadow blurs. Polished surfaces reflect the suspended crates, creating a mirrored composition that doubles the visual rhythm. Fine rain droplets rest on the high windows, streaking the incoming light. One crate hovers just inches above the ground, its shadow detached and floating slightly below it.
