Enamel Bowls in Singapore

A stack of faded blue enamel bowls sits on a narrow concrete ledge in a Singaporean void deck, illuminated by harsh noon light. The metal surfaces reflect the bright ambient light, showing small chips and scratches along the rim of the topmost bowl. Behind the bowls, a potted fern with long, arching fronds adds a touch of green to the gray architectural background. One drop of condensation rests on the curved side of the lowest bowl, catching the sunlight.
