Under the harsh, direct glare of a Cusco winter noon, a weathered wooden loom shuttle rests against the rough, red adobe wall of a traditional courtyard. The shuttle's smooth, oil-stained wood contrasts sharply with the crumbling plaster and the vibrant, hand-woven alpaca textiles draped nearby. Sunlight cuts through the narrow alley, casting deep, geometric shadows that emphasize the texture of the ancient stonework foundation below. One, frayed thread hangs from the shuttle's eye, catching a sharp glint of white light against the dark grain.
