The metal blades are still, reflecting the warm orange glow of the nearby terracotta roof tiles against the clear blue sky. Behind the fan, a faded blue curtain hangs loosely from a rusted hook, framing a glimpse of the narrow street below. Dust motes dance in the air around the stationary blades, highlighting the texture of the weathered concrete ledge.
