Wet cobblestones in the medina reflect the pale, diffused light of a post-rain morning, leading toward a small blue fishing boat hauled onto the sand, its hull glistening with moisture. A local fisherman in a worn vest secures a drying rack laden with silver sardines to a wooden post, the metal hooks catching the weak sunlight. In the foreground, a small dog shakes water from its fur, sending droplets flying onto the damp stones. The rough, salt-eroded walls of the fortress, their muted blue paint peeling to reveal the rough plaster beneath.
