Desert Highway Straight as Ruler Near Isfahan
Deep shadows swallow the lower slopes of the arid terrain while a sharp rim of pale morning light defines the ridgelines. A straight highway cuts horizontally across the frame, its gray asphalt surface against the surrounding ochre and dusty rose earth. Below the road, thick ground fog fills the valleys, obscuring the bottom of the basin and creating a soft, white void that separates the foreground hills from the distant horizon. The early spring season shows sparse, low-lying scrub vegetation clinging to the dry soil. The road stretches endlessly into the hazy distance, flanked by rolling dunes and rocky outcrops that rise sharply against the brightening sky. The edge of a shadow falls across the nearest ridge, marking the precise boundary between darkness and the first light of dawn.
