Cracked Mud Polygons on Museum Plinth Ramadi

Pale walls reflect a soft, diffuse glow that illuminates the textured surface of dried earth. The ground fractures into intricate, interlocking polygons, their edges raised slightly to reveal darker, shadowed crevices beneath the sun-baked crust. This geological specimen rests on a smooth, neutral plinth within an indoor gallery space. The midsummer light bounces off the surrounding architecture, creating a gentle, even illumination that highlights the rough, dusty texture of the mud without harsh shadows. Fine dust particles settle into the deep fissures of the cracked surface. A faint shadow from the plinth edge falls across the bottom right corner of the dried earth.
