An overloaded student satchel, dark with moisture, tilts forward. A white course packet slips from the top opening, caught mid-air against the dark ground. The paper edges glow faintly under the artificial light. Beside the falling packet, deep cracks in the stone hold standing water. The fabric of the bag sags heavily, its texture rough and soaked. At the edge of the frame, a puddle mirrors the harsh overhead glow. The wet stone surface shows deep cracks filled with water.
