Muddy brown earth marks the access road in Swabi, where a massive stack of grey concrete blankets rests in deep shadow. Rain falls in thin, visible sheets across the frame, catching the faint rim light that outlines the wet surfaces. Behind the stack, the horizon glows with the first scattered city lights, signaling the transition from night to early morning. The concrete blocks show rough, weathered textures and dark water stains from the brief sun shower. Wet mud splashes up the sides of the pile, while droplets rest on the jagged edges of the top layer. One puddle in the foreground reflects the distant, glowing street lamps.
