Colored Glass Light Play in Mecca Stair Hall

Soft, overcast afternoon light falls through a collection of fractured colored glass shards arranged in a tight cluster. The shards cast geometric patches of red, blue, and amber onto the surrounding beige marble tiles of a stair hall. Condensation beads on a nearby glass surface, creating a network of tiny water droplets that refract the ambient gray light. The sharp edges of the glass contrast with the smooth, cool stone of the floor and walls. Shadows fall in precise, angular lines across the tiled steps, showing the rigid geometry of the architecture. A final drop of moisture slides down the vertical glass pane, leaving a clear, wet streak against the colorful light projection.
