Climber Coils Rope on Kyiv Lighthouse Ledge
Deep indigo night swallows the horizon above the Kyiv harbor quay, where a lone climber sits on a stone ledge. Sweeping beams from a lighthouse cut through heavy overcast clouds, illuminating the figure and the coils of thick orange rope in their hands. Late spring air hangs still as the climber loops the rope with disciplined focus. Behind them, dark pines stand against the gray sky, their needles catching the intermittent light.
