Rain-slicked cobblestones reflect the amber glow of a streetlamp near a closed bottega in Trastevere, where a folded yellow umbrella leans against a wet brick pillar. Inside the dim shop, visible through the glass, a shopkeeper in a dark sweater wipes a blue and white porcelain bowl with a rough linen dish towel, the crazed glaze catching the low light. Outside, a tangle of dormant ivy rests on the facade, dripping with moisture. The quiet transition of evening, with the wet pavement mirroring the warm interior spill, creating a textured interplay of stone, glass, and fabric under the grey, overcast sky.
