Candlelit Bosnian Cevapi and Flatbread in Madrid Cafe

Warm candlelight pools across a white ceramic plate holding rows of grilled Bosnian cevapi. Their charred skins glisten under the flicker while a generous dollop of creamy white kajmak sits beside the meat. A piece of soft, pale flatbread rests on the rim, its texture appearing porous and yielding. The plate sits on a dark wooden table near a large window where the deep blue of a Madrid summer evening fades into the first glow of city lights. Muted reflections of the candles stretch along the polished floor beneath the table, creating long, soft streaks of amber. Steam rises slightly from the hot food against the cool air. The edge of the flatbread catches a faint reflection of the window light.
