Soft overcast light diffuses across the stone masonry of a canal aqueduct stretching over parched, sun-bleached terrain. The structure rises in a series of repeating arches, their weathered surfaces showing patches of lichen and erosion from years of exposure. Water flows steadily within the channel, its surface reflecting the pale gray sky above. In the distance, a faint sea haze blurs the horizon line where the sky meets the land. The architecture converges sharply toward a vanishing point, showing the scale of the engineering against the dry landscape. A small bird perches on the highest arch, casting a tiny, sharp shadow against the rough stone texture.
