Buenos Aires Espresso Cup

A white ceramic espresso cup rests on a chipped terrazzo counter in a historic Buenos Aires cafe, catching the bright late morning light. The cup's glossy enamel rim reflects the blurred shapes of wooden chairs and hanging pendant lamps in the background. Behind the cup, a wall of scuffed painted wood shows layers of peeling green paint and small nail holes from decades of use.
