Chipped Blue Enamel Basin in Lima

A chipped blue enamel basin sits on a rough concrete ledge, catching the soft, diffused light of early morning in Lima. Rain droplets rest on the curved rim, highlighting the white paint loss where decades of use have worn away the glaze. Behind the basin, a textured wall of faded stucco rises, its surface damp and darkened by the recent shower. One drop of water falls from the edge, landing silently on the stone below.
