Bronze Sculptor Patina Forearms Noon Light

Microscopic detail reveals rough, oxidized bronze patina coating the forearms of a sculptor, the green and brown crusts clinging to deep skin creases. Flat noon glare from a north-facing window casts sharp, cool highlights across the textured metal stains while leaving deep shadows in the arm's natural curves. Behind the subject, a wall of weathered turquoise paint peels in thin, dry flakes, exposing layers of gray plaster beneath. The cool season light keeps the colors muted, stripping away warmth to leave only the stark contrast between the organic skin, the inorganic metal residue, and the crumbling paint. A faint, muted reflection of the sculptor's elbow glides across the dusty floorboards in the lower right corner.
