Brie Cheese Honeycomb on Velvet Chair

Soft pale brie wedges rest beside a jagged piece of golden honeycomb on the deep blue fabric of a velvet chair. The plush pile of the upholstery catches the dim glow from interior lamps, creating soft highlights on the cheese's rind and the translucent wax cells. Late spring light falls through a window, casting quiet shadows along the walls that frame the still life. The honeycomb's amber facets reflect the warm artificial light, against the cool, shadowed corners of the room. One drip of honey rests on the edge of the wax, glistening against the textured fabric.
