Bridge Painter in Manisa Evening Drizzle

Honeyed evening light slices across the damp face of a bridge painter suspended high above the river in Manisa. A leather safety harness cradles the torso, its worn straps biting into a thick wool coat suited for the cool season. Raindrops rest on the lashes and bead on the bristles of brushes held loosely in gloved hands. The low sun traces long, sharp shadows across the wet metal grating beneath the boots. Water streaks down the painter's cheek, catching the golden glow before merging with the gray drizzle. The background blurs into a wash of river mist and distant stone arches, keeping the focus entirely on the quiet, attentive stillness of the worker's profile against the cooling air.
