Blue Hour Pedestrian Overpass Near Benghazi

Cool blue twilight washes the perforated metal grating of a pedestrian overpass, where wet footprints mark the path of recent passage. The steel surface gleams under the fading light, reflecting the deep indigo sky above. In the background, the massive concrete pylons and taut cables of a cable-stayed bridge rise into the dimming air, anchoring the structure against the horizon. Early winter air leaves a crisp sheen on the metal, while raindrops rest on the circular holes of the walkway floor. Leading lines of the railing guide the gaze toward the distant bridge supports, showing the engineered geometry. A cluster of muddy prints rests on the wet steel near the bottom edge, evidence of movement through the clearing storm.
