First light after rain illuminates a weathered wooden doorframe in Seville, where water droplets rest on the chipped white paint. A pair of beaded sandals rests on the stone threshold, their intricate patterns catching the soft, diffused morning glow. The damp cobblestones beyond reflect the pale sky, creating a mirror-like surface that extends into the narrow alleyway. One drop of water falls from the eaves above, freezing in mid-air against the dark interior shadow.
