Pale dawn light slips across the polished concrete floor of a Morogoro cafe, casting muted reflections beside the worktable. A baker stands behind a wooden counter, hands guiding a razor tool across the surface of a risen loaf. Flour dust hangs in the air above the dough, settling on the rough texture of the crust.
