Under the sodium-orange spill of a Roman streetlamp, a young woman balances a woven basket tray filled with ripe figs on the edge of a wrought-iron balcony railing. The city hums below, but her focus is sharp on the fruit, arranging them with practiced ease before descending to the trattoria courtyard. Behind her, a sun-bleached canvas awning flaps gently against the warm brick facade, while a single floor lamp inside the open kitchen casts a cool, inviting glow onto the tiled floor.
