Rich amber sunset light floods a tight close-up of tussock grass growing on a wind-scoured ridge. The blades stand thick and matted, their tips glowing in copper-toned illumination before dusk. Dust hangs low above the ground, settling gently between the dense clumps of vegetation. The scene shows the raw elemental energy of the rainy season, with the grass appearing damp and heavy. Every stalk reflects the warm glow, highlighting the rough texture of the blades against the soft, suspended particles of dust. the mix of light and shadow defines the uneven surface of the earth beneath the tufts.
