Alert Tabby Cat in Reed Bed Sunbeam Hanoi
Honeyed evening light falls across the face of a tabby cat crouched low at the edge of a dense reed bed near Hanoi. The animal's orange and black stripes catch the fading golden glow while thick ground fog pools around the muddy bank below. Wet mud clings to its paws, and droplets of monsoon rain glisten on the green reed leaves nearby. The cat's ears are pinned forward, eyes wide and focused on an unseen point beyond the frame. The stalks stand upright beside the subject, their tips bending slightly under the weight of recent rain. One dewdrop slides down a stalk in the foreground, catching the last light before nightfall.
