Wool Table and Gates Under City Glow
Cold breath hovers low along the muddy paddock fence where a wooden table holds stacked wool rolls. Behind the table, heavy rolled metal gates stand silhouetted against the deepening twilight. The sky above transitions from fading blue to the first bright points of distant city lights, casting a cool rim light around the rough wood grain and the textured fibers of the wool. Mud rests on the base of the fence posts, dark and wet against the early autumn grass. The scene rests in a moment of stillness where the industrial gates meet the organic texture of the fleece. One shadow stretches from the table leg across the damp earth. The cold air condenses visibly around the metal rails, marking the chill of the season.
