Wooden Peg Rail in Bilbao

A wooden peg rail mounted on the rough stone wall of a traditional Bilbao doorway catches the diffuse light of the cool early morning. Thin condensation beads form on the surface of a nearby glass window pane, blurring the view into the dim interior of the building. One potted geranium sits in a window box below, its green leaves damp and vibrant against the gray urban backdrop. Water droplets rest on the textured stone surface, showing the damp chill of the Basque morning air.
