Wooden Ladder in Oaxaca

A rough-hewn wooden ladder leans against the textured stucco wall of a traditional Oaxacan courtyard under the flat noon light. The aged timber shows deep grain and dust accumulation, against the pale, sun-bleached plaster behind it. A small clay pot sits at the base of the ladder, casting a sharp, dark shadow on the packed earth floor. Fine particles of dust float in the air near the upper rungs, illuminated by the diffuse overhead sun.
