White Enamel Bowl in Guadalajara

One white enamel bowl sits on a rough concrete windowsill, catching the last warm light of a Guadalajara summer evening. The bowl's chipped rim reveals a layer of grey metal beneath the white coating, against the smooth, sun-baked surface of the sill. Behind the bowl, a dark wooden gate frames the view, its vertical slats casting long, sharp shadows across the wall. A faint reflection of the twilight sky glints off the bowl's slightly concave bottom, at the base of the object in the fading light.
