White Ceramic Saucer in Venice

A white ceramic saucer rests on a sunlit stone ledge in a Venetian courtyard, its rim catching the clear afternoon light. The shallow dish holds a small puddle of water that reflects the blue sky above and the surrounding terracotta tiles. Behind it, the rough texture of the aged wall provides a neutral backdrop for this simple domestic object. One green leaf from a nearby potted plant drapes over the edge of the saucer, adding a touch of organic color.
