Rain streaks the glass window of a small Seoul café, blurring the neon signs of the surrounding alleyway into soft vertical lines of blue and red. Inside, the warm interior light catches the steam rising from a white porcelain cup, leaving faint brown tea stains on its rim. A metal drying rack leans against the counter, holding a few damp mugs and a single weathered wicker basket, evidence of a busy evening service. Outside, the wet asphalt reflects the city lights, while a pedestrian with a transparent umbrella walks past, their figure distorted by the rain-slicked street. The quiet, lived-in rhythm of urban life in South Korea during a twilight shower.
