Wedding Garland Table in Al Ain Prayer Hall

Amber lantern light spills across a low table draped in thick wedding garlands of red, white, and green flowers. Beside the arrangement, painted wooden stools stand ready, their surfaces worn by use. The heavy overcast sky outside casts a diffused copper tone over the interior, softening the harshness of the dry season dust that settles on the stone floor. Firelight from the lanterns creates deep pockets of shadow against the smooth plaster walls. A foreground blur of hanging fabric frames the view, drawing focus to the vibrant textures of the floral ribbons resting on the dark wood. at the edge is a single green leaf tip pressed against the rough edge of a painted stool leg.
