A weathered wicker fiber basket rests on a sun-drenched stone ledge in a Quito courtyard, catching the low angle of the golden hour light. The intricate weave of the dried grasses creates deep shadows that contrast with the bright, warm highlights on the rim of the container. Beside the basket sits a small terracotta pot holding a resilient succulent, its fleshy leaves reflecting the amber glow of the setting sun. One dried leaf lies on the rough stone surface near the base, adding texture to the foreground of the composition.
