Water Droplets in Hong Kong

A cluster of broad hosta leaves glistens with fresh dew in the damp, gray light of a Hong Kong garden at dawn. The heavy water droplets rest on the waxy green surfaces, reflecting the muted sky above the surrounding high-rise buildings. Thin mist drifts through the foliage, softening the edges of the leaves and creating a hazy, atmospheric depth in the immediate foreground. One, perfect sphere of water hangs from the tip of the lowest leaf, catching the faint, diffused light.
