Flames from handheld torches create a sharp rim of orange light against the deep blue twilight sky, outlining the silhouette of a Viking longship resting in a public square. The hull cuts a dark, heavy shape against the cool season air, its curved prow pointing toward the empty foreground where soft, out-of-focus lights suggest distant activity. Shadows swallow the details of the wooden planks, leaving only the glowing edges of the fire to define the vessel's scale.
