A street vendor’s cart, slick with moisture, displays a colorful cluster of nectarines and glass bottles of local limoncello, their surfaces beaded with condensation. Beside them, a ceramic mug steams gently, abandoned momentarily on the counter as the vendor arranges a window box of vibrant geraniums.
