Vanilla Farmer Pollinating Orchids in Seychelles Lane

Bright midmorning light reflects off nearby water, illuminating a narrow village lane where a farmer tends to climbing vanilla orchids. The worker's hands carefully manipulate a small flower, lifting a flap to reveal the reproductive parts against the backdrop of lush green vines. Dramatic clouds stack high above the scene, casting shifting shadows across the dirt path and surrounding vegetation. The dry season leaves the ground dusty and the leaves a deep, vibrant green. Wooden stakes support the sprawling vines that weave through the air. A cluster of pale green pods hangs low near the farmer's elbow, against the dark soil and the bright, hazy sky above the horizon.
