Townsville Factory Gate Workers Stream Out

Sodium-vapor lamps cast a heavy amber wash over the concrete yard as workers exit the factory gates in Townsville. The wet season leaves shallow puddles on the ground, mirroring the orange glow of the street lights. A perfectly clear sky darkens above while the lower area stays bright with industrial dusk. Figures move in clusters, their forms standing sharp against the bright metal barriers. An over-the-shoulder view places the observer just behind a person wearing a high-visibility vest, looking toward the exiting crowd. The texture of the wet pavement glistens under the sodium light, resting beside the matte gray of the chain-link fence. A reflection of a worker's headlamp shimmers in a puddle near the bottom right corner.
