Dawn Soap Spray on Las Vegas Fish Market Cobbles
Cold silver dawn light spills across wet, moss-stained cobbles in a public square near Las Vegas. Three sanitation workers in high-visibility vests move in unison, their hoses arcing thick, white sheets of soapy water over the uneven stone. Low-hanging winter clouds press down, diffusing the pale sky into a uniform gray sheet. Steam rises gently from the warmed soap as it hits the frozen ground. Orange safety cones line the perimeter, their bright color stark against the monochrome stone. The spray creates a misty curtain that softens the distant storefronts. At the edge of the frame, a single puddle reflects the gray sky and the faint orange glow of a distant streetlamp. The workers stand motionless for a moment, their breath visible in the freezing air, before resuming their rhythmic motion across the damp, slippery surface.
