A massive Tosa Inu stands on a weathered wooden porch beside a plain plastered courtyard wall in the Entoto hills. The dog's short coat shows distinct texture with coarse guard hairs catching the soft, diffused light of a wet season morning. Rainwater beads on the rough wood planks beneath its heavy paws, while the animal's broad muzzle and folded ears remain relaxed against the damp air. The view looks down from above, showing the scale of its shoulders against the simple architectural lines of the Ethiopian highland home. Fine water droplets rest on the dog's dark fur and the worn edges of the porch floorboards.
