A Thai Bangkaew dog stands in tight close-up against a weathered beige courtyard wall, its dense double coat catching the flat glare of noon. The animal's black-and-tan fur shows distinct texture, with white tips on the guard hairs creating a frosted edge along the spine. Its triangular ears stand erect and forward, framing a muzzle that tapers to a black nose. Sunlight reflects off the wet sheen of a recent brief shower, highlighting the moisture on the dark fur around the eyes and ears. The dog's gaze is fixed forward with an attentive stillness, while water droplets rest on the coarse whiskers. Behind the animal, the rough stucco surface of the wall displays faint cracks and patches of green moss near the base. One drop of water falls from the dog's ear onto the dry concrete ground below.
