Textile Swatch Board on Rooftop Monsoon Light

Dappled sunlight falls through broad green leaves, casting shifting patches of bright illumination across a layered textile swatch board resting on a rooftop surface. The board displays distinct fabric textures: the nubby loops of boucle, the soft halo of mohair, and the smooth, water-resistant sheen of coated canvas. Above the city of Barquisimeto, the flat glare of noon creates high contrast between the sunlit fabric areas and the deep shadows beneath the leaves. Rain has recently fallen, leaving the surrounding concrete slightly damp and reflecting the sky. The composition aligns the swatches in perfect symmetry, with the textures of the materials standing out sharply against the blurred background of evening traffic lights and distant buildings. A wet leaf edge rests against the corner of the boucle swatch.
