Terracotta Planter in Santa Fe

A terracotta planter sits on a sun-warmed adobe ledge, holding a small sage bush that thrives in the dry Santa Fe air. The late afternoon light casts long, sharp shadows across the rough, textured stucco wall behind the plant. Dust motes dance in the golden beam that illuminates the green leaves and the reddish clay of the pot. One dried seed pod hangs from the stem, catching the warm glow of the setting sun.
